Orlando, The City Beautiful

Orlando is a city of central Florida. The city of orlando is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. Orlando is the 6th largest city in Florida.

Orlando is also nicknamed as “O-Town”, “The City Beautiful” and “The Imaginary City”. The fountain of Lake Eola is the symbol of Orlando. The city is believed to be named after a soldier named Orlando Reeves who allegedly died in the area, during the war against the Seminole Indian tribe.

Orlando is one of the world’s most visited vacation spots. The tourism brings in the largest revenues to the city. Orlando attracts an estimated 52 million tourists a year, during its peak seasons. The orlando vacation and orlando vacation packages are hotly pursued deals.

The major attractions of Orlando include Arboretum of the University of Central Florida, Blue Spring State Park, Central Florida Zoological Park, Church Street Station, Cirque du Soleil, Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Cypress Gardens Adventure Park, Discovery Cove, Gatorland, Hard Rock Live & Hotel, International Trolley and Train Museum, Kennedy Space Center, Harry P. Leu Gardens, Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Morse Museum of American Art, Old Town, Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando Museum of Art, Orlando Science Center, Wekiwa Springs State Park, World of Orchids and Ripley’s Believe It or Not!.

The city is widely known for the Disney World theme park, including the EPCOT Center and Animal Kingdom. The Disney World Resort is in the Reedy Creek Improvement District.

The other tourist attractions include Sea World, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Orlando Resort and the World’s Largest McDonald’s.

The downtown Orlando attracts the considerable number of tourists. Gatorland is one of the oldest attractions in the area.

Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida, which is the second largest university in Florida.

The Orlando area is home to many lakes including Lake Apopka, Eustis, Griffin, Harney, Harris, Jesup, Monroe, Sand Lake, Conway and Tohopekaliga.

The parks in Orlando and adjoining areas include Azalea Park, Baldwin Park, Callahan,

College Park, Crescent Park, Delaney Park, Lake Davis/Greenwood, Lake Eola Heights, Park Central, Park Lake Highland, Roosevelt Park and Thornton Park.

Orlando has highly established hotel industry. The are mickle of restaurants and luxury orlando hotels. The hotels in orlando are known for their luxuries, comforts and quality services. Every single orlando hotel offers a complete romantic world to the visitors.
